While this season has looked a little different for us, we were still able to enjoy each other's presence via small gatherings and many Zoom meetings! As the spring opened up a little, we were also able to hold a modified tryout and are excited to announce the addition of 6 new teammates. Congratulations and welcome to the team!

We are extremely sad to announce that our 2020 fall season has been canceled due to the safety concerns surrounding the COVID19 pandemic. The University's protocol of limiting 10+ people gatherings currently prohibits OSUWSC from hosting both practices and tryouts this season. While things are subject to change, OSUWSC continues to remain optimistic about a possible spring season and is encouraging everyone to keep working hard through these unsettling times.
For any prospective players looking to tryout in the Fall of 2020, remember to keep a look out for any updates regarding the finalized tryout schedule. The university is currently working through COVID19 back to play restrictions, but we hope to have tryout dates/times in the near future. As soon as time slots are approved and finalized, they will be updated on the prospective players tab. You will also be able to find updated information on our instagram and twitter (@osuwsc). If you have any questions contact [email protected].
Unfortunately, due to COVID19 and unforeseen circumstances, OSUWSC has canceled the remainder of our spring practices and scrimmages. While most of us have moved back home for the time being, we are still trying to keep some touches on the ball. For any perspective players looking to join our team in the fall, this is a great time to get your foot back on the ball and start getting fit! ;-) We hope you all are enjoying some down time and staying healthy! Love, OSUWSC OSUWSC will be holding winter tryouts for prospective players on January 29th and January 30th. Tryouts will be held at the ARC on field 1, and there will also be a $20 tryout fee (cash or Venmo).
Tryout times: Wednesday, January 29th at 7-8:30pm Thursday, January 30th at 5:30-7pm Location: Ohio State Adventure Recreation Center (ARC) 855 Woody Hayes Drive, Columbus, OH 43210 There is parking at the facility, or the CABS bus system also makes a stop nearby the ARC. A BuckID is required to enter. If you have any questions contact [email protected]. We can't wait to see you all there!! Hi everyone,
We want to apologize for not updating you all as our season progressed, but we did have quite the busy past few months. Our season took off the minute we stepped on campus and we never looked back. We played 10 regular season games and finished with an undefeated record of 7-3-0. With this record, we advanced onto the regional tournament held in Madison, Wisconsin. At regionals, we played Notre Dame and Marquette in the round robin stage and then fell short to Michigan in the semifinals (0-1). Due to our success during the regular season, as well as a strong finish at regionals, we got an automatic bid to the national tournament in Round Rock, Texas. During the weeks leading up to the national tournament, we spent many long, cold nights outside working hard to enhance our play and hopefully defend our 2018 National Title. We arrived in Round Rock excited, hopeful, and determined to continue our run. In our group stage we defeated both Cornell (2-0) and Kansas (4-1) and then went on to play Illinois where we came out with a 2-0 victory. Next, we faced our friends from Michigan and came out on top with a strong 2-0 win. Lastly we faced UCLA (3-0) in the final four and advanced to play Boston College for the National Championship. After an exciting 90 minutes, OSUWSC was able to defend our 2018 title with a 2-1 win as well as become your 2019 National Champions!!!! We ended our season as back to back National Champions, scoring 50 goals along the way and only conceding 7. Lastly, we want to thank every parent, family member, friend, and supporter who was along with us for this ride. While we all love to play this awesome game, it makes it even more special when we can share it with everyone else we care about as well. Thank you for being the biggest, loudest, and rowdiest fan section there is, no matter how far away we are from home! Thanks again, OSUWSC OSUWSC is so excited to welcome the following players to our team for the 2019 fall season:
Catherine Berry Ellie King Zoe Lape Jordan Reddington Annie Winkhart Megan Wozniak For more information about this year's team, check out the Roster page or our Instagram, @osuwsc, for player bios and meet the team! Our 2019 season begins in 1 week against Akron at 7:00pm on the Lincoln Tower Turf Fields and we hope to see you there! If you have any questions or are interested in learning more about the team, please contact [email protected]. Your Ohio State Buckeyes are Women's NIRSA National Champions! They traveled down to Vanderbilt University over the weekend for the tournament. After another long weather delay due to record rains, they defeated Clemson 4-1 in the semifinals and UC Davis 2-0 in the finals. Thank you to our parents, fans and Ohio State Club Sports office for their support the last few months. We can't wait to start our national title defense next fall. Go Bucks!
After the rain-out on the last day of Nationals in November, NIRSA has decided to reschedule the Final Four at a neutral site to all four teams. OSUWSC, Clemson, Illinois, and UC Davis will be traveling to Vanderbilt University the weekend of February 23-24 in hopes of winning the National Championship! More details to come as we receive them from NIRSA.
After advancing from our group, a dramatic PK win, and two last-minute winning goals, we are sad to say that NIRSA was forced to cancel Nationals before the Final Four games because of inclement weather. We want to thank our seniors, families, coaches, fans and all of our players for such a great year. We also want to congratulate Ohio State's men's club team on their advancement to the Final Four as well. We are excited to return to Nationals next year and finish what we started this year. Go Bucks! |
